Mary Christine Kane is the author of the poetry chapbook, Between the stars where you are lost, published in 2019 by Finishing Line Press. Her writing has also appeared in numerous journals and anthologies including Bluestem; The Buffalo Anthology, Right Here, Right Now; Plainsongs; Ponder Review and others. In 2019, she won a Twin Cities Moth StorySLAM competition.

Mary lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and grew up in Western New York, where many of her poems are set. She earned an MFA from Hamline University, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Formerly a copywriter, Mary is now a marketing consultant as well as a regular volunteer for the arts, parks and animal rescue.
