Mary Christine Kane is the author of the poetry chapbook, Between the stars where you are lost, published by Finishing Line Press. Her writing has also appeared in numerous publications including Cream City Review; HuffPost; The Sun; Bluestem; The Buffalo Anthology, Right Here, Right Now, Plainsongs; and others. She is a Twin Cities Moth StorySLAM competition winner.

Mary lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota and grew up in Western New York, where many of her poems are set. She earned an MFA from Hamline University. Formerly a copywriter, Mary is now a marketing consultant as well as an animal rescue volunteer and member of the Cat Writers' Association.
